Why     How     What

Growing Together Westchester is a new health equity initiative formed in partnership between United Way of Westchester and Putnam, Westchester County’s 0-6 Committee, and Westchester County Government to help caregivers of newborns and young children access information and resources in an easy and engaging format in English and Spanish.

This new initiative is designed to be a database of information from local organizations, agencies, and professionals and regularly shared with caregivers based on the child’s development. Once caregivers sign up for the service, they will proactively receive regular texts and emails with helpful tips and resources for themselves and their children ages 0-6.

We seek local nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and healthcare professionals to contribute content to the repository.

Please submit information related to caregivers or children ages 0-6 about the following topics:

  • Health
  • Nutrition
  • Sleep
  • Safety
  • Play
  • Parental Wellness
  • Positive Parenting Tips
  • Child Development
  • Attachment/Bonding
  • Community
