Ride United Last Mile Delivery Dasher Resources

The Ride United Last Mile Delivery Program enables social service organizations to reach community members in need by using DoorDash’s last-mile logistics platform and community of Dashers, powering deliveries to at-risk and food-insecure homes.

Your work as Dashers for this program has helped over 1,800 unique food-insecure households receive nutritious, fresh food right to their doorstep.

As the need for food assistance in our communities continues to grow, UWWP is currently scheduling 875 – 1200 deliveries a week to food-insecure homes throughout Westchester County.

This could not be possible without our reliable DoorDash Drivers!

Who
You're Serving

This work is incredibly important because the people you deliver to are often unable to shop for themselves. Our clients are often single parents who do not have time to shop for food, seniors who cannot get to a grocery store, or disabled people who struggle to shop for themselves.

This is why it is imperative as Dashers to pay close attention to delivery notes and be sure to drop deliveries off at clients’ front doors and not left outside of apartment buildings, in the lobby, or in the street.
