New York Disaster Interfaith Services seeks disaster case managers for Hudson Valley

Positions are immediately available with New York Disaster Interfaith Services (NYDIS) for disaster case manager(s) in your county, to support Ida flooding impacting households. With more than 300 Ida disaster case management intakes in the Hudson Valley, most of them from Westchester County, the NYS FEMA Disaster Case Management Program is urgently seeking 1 to 2 caseworkers to work in Westchester.

This is a hybrid position for case managers working with clients remotely and in-person on an as-needed basis, as well as one mandatory office day per week at the NYDIS offices in Midtown Manhattan. The Case Manager will report to the Case Management Supervisor and Program Manager. The 18-24 month contract spans 10 affected counties with 6 subcontracts with provider agencies that will deliver disaster case management services to approximately 2,300 Ida flooding impacted households. NYDIS is seeking Disaster Case Managers for the following counties: Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, and Westchester counties, as well as NYC.
