Illuminations at American Christmas to benefit United Way of Westchester and Putnam

American Christmas is hosting a Christmas wonder this holiday season. On select days between November 27 and December 23, American Christmas will host a walkthrough Christmas light exhibit at their showroom in Mount Vernon. Admission to the event is $5 a person. All of the proceeds will benefit the work of United Way of Westchester and Putnam.

American Christmas creates holiday displays for some of New York City’s most iconic attractions, ranging from the heralding angels at Rockefeller Center to the 13-foot-tall nutcrackers posted outside the UBS building on 6th Avenue in Manhattan. Every holiday season the company installs more than 525 holiday displays around the world.

Guests will walk through American Christmas’ decorated showroom, where guests will be able to take photos with the glorious displays throughout the area.   The way is stylized as a Christmas “selfie museum,” where guests will take a self-guided tour through the lighted path. Along the way, guests can take pictures at different stations, with each station featuring a spectacular Christmas decoration.

Advanced ticket purchase is required and only available through United Way. Tickets are available at uwwp.org/illuminations. Illuminations will be open from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on November 27, 28, December 4, 5, 11, 12, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23.

American Christmas is located at 30 Warren Place in Mount Vernon.
