Featured Volunteers: The Hill-Behar Family

Tracy Hill and her children—Briana and Eric—have volunteered with United Way of Westchester and Putnam on multiple occasions. The Hill-Behar family is currently assisting with our United2Read initiative by sorting books and assembling reading kits. Tracy, Briana, and Eric have also volunteered at our Delta Airlines Distribution and helped distribute over 700,000 blankets to our nonprofit partners.

“I volunteer because it is important to give back to our community and empower others. There is value  taking the blessings we have and sharing that wealth with those who have not been as fortunate,” said Tracy. “I think it is important that my children actively participate in their community and contribute through volunteerism as well”.

The Hill-Behar family are residents of New Rochelle who regularly volunteer in their community. Tracy and her family also volunteered at food banks and crafted blankets for the homeless in their free time. Eric attends New Rochelle High School along with his sister, Briana, who is finishing her senior year. Briana is preparing to graduate and attend the University of Toronto.
