Education United’s Year 3 Impact
| This past year (2024-2025), Education United servedĀ 616 studentsĀ across Highview, Brookside, and Tarrytown schools, providing a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive, learn, and succeed. The results are remarkable: Academic Excellence:Ā Students showed dramatic improvement, with 87-99% improving their reading scores and 93-99% improving their math scores across both school sites. Teachers confirmed what the data shows: 80% of participating students who needed academic support made measurable progress. Building Confidence:Ā 92% of students reported feeling more confident and better about themselves since joining the program. This is a powerful reminder that education is about more than test scores. Parent Peace of Mind:Ā 100% of parents felt their child was safe in the program, and 99% felt they and their child were treated well by staff. With 96% of parents ready to recommend Education United to others, it’s clear this program is meeting a critical community need. Attendance Matters:Ā For students struggling with chronic absenteeism, Education United made a difference. Between 67-87% of chronically absent students improved their attendance, getting back on track for success. These results prove that when we invest in our children’s potential, they rise to meet the challenge. Education United is proud to continue this vital work in the year ahead. |
