The Women's Leadership Council

The Women’s Leadership Council is UNITED in its mission to help ALICE, an acronym for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. At its core, it is a new way of defining and understanding the struggles of households that earn just above the Federal Poverty Level, but not enough for a survival budget.  The annual event raises funds to support ALICE women, children, and families.

Support ALICE* Women, Children and Families

• 40% of Westchester and Putnam residents live paycheck to paycheck or in poverty.
• 74% of single-mom homes struggle to make ends meet.
