Faith Ann Butcher has been the Chief Impact Officer of United Way of Westchester and Putnam since October 2019. She started with United Way in August 2018 as a Senior Director of Relationship Management. Her solution-oriented approach, with her understanding of the direct connection between funding and programs and marketing, has made her an asset to many aspects of the organization.
An award-winning journalist, Faith has a unique background that includes experience in government as well as the nonprofit and business sectors and being an entrepreneur. She is the former executive director for Community Cares and an active community leader, who is the immediate past chairwoman for The Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce. Faith was previously responsible for the communications of the Putnam County Executive, production manager for Halston Media and chief operations officer for Examiner Media.
Faith has been recognized as part of the 2013 Class of the Business of Westchester’s Rising Stars 40 under Forty as well as the 2014 class of the Putnam Chambers of Commerce’s 40 under 40 Trailblazers. She has also won journalism awards from the Fair Media Council the New York Press Association.

With almost 30 years of strategic professional experience in the nonprofit sector, Tom has held senior-level positions at a variety of human services organizations in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Throughout his career, he has been committed to bringing about significant and lasting community impact for programs focused on education, health, income inequality and social justice.
Tom has led a number of development, fundraising, and public relations efforts, with a keen attention to cultivating relationships and designing strategic initiatives. He is a motivator, storyteller, and frequent user of pop-culture analogies who regularly starts his days at 7 am and thoroughly enjoys engaging and energizing Board Members, volunteers, contributors and other stakeholders in collaborative efforts. Throughout his career, he has raised approximately $50 million for human services organizations.
Prior to becoming the President & CEO at the United Way of Westchester and Putnam, Tom served as the Chief Development Officer at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, Development Director at the Westchester Land Trust, Director of Development at the Greenwich United Way, Vice President of Development at the Visiting Nurse Association of the Hudson Valley, and Director of Development at Cerebral Palsy Westchester.
Tom is a Board Member of the Association of Development Officers in Westchester, a Member of The Business Council of Westchester’s Not for Profit Council, and a Member of the Westchester County Board of Legislators’ Families Task Force. He is also a regular blood donor through the American Red Cross.
He has a BA in Advertising & Public Relations and an MBA in Organizational Behavior from Iona College in New Rochelle. He and his wife Janine live in South Salem, NY.
