United Way's 1st Annual
Play for What Matters
School Challenge
May - June 2006

Chappaqua's Seven Bridges Middle School Track Team members show off their temporary United Way tattoos at their meet on May 4, 2006 where they ran to support United Way.

School athletes in Westchester and Putnam counties are "Playing for What Matters" by raising funds for United Way at regular season sports events. Funds will be used to solve local problems throughout the two county area such as the lack of affordable child care, medical care, and housing and to support United Way's 211 call center - a free confidential hotline that provides callers with information about, and referrals to, health and human services.
