United Way conducts several special events each year at locations throughout the two-county area. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
Pre-Event
- Logistics planning
- Publicity and outreach
- Obtaining donations of auction and raffle items
- Securing sponsorships and program book ads
Day of the Event
- Set up and registration
- Sale of raffle tickets and United Way merchandise
- Photographing the event
- Clean-up/break-down of venue or site
- Other event-specific tasks
