Many of our volunteers serve United Way as members of local Community Councils, through which they raise funds, organize and host special events and reach out to friends and neighbors with United Way’s vital message. In 2009, United Way brought several of these communities together to form regional entities, as described below.

Volunteers are needed to help distribute the FamilyWize card in the community, especially at pharmacies and other locations where people congregate.
