General Statement of Duties:
- Responsible for the establishment, implementation, and administration of a new Community School Initiative program that will serve at-risk middle school students and their families
- Establish strong partnerships with school staff, parents and other community agencies to identify specific unmet needs
- Develop new, targeted programming both during and outside of regular school hours
- Insure continuity of service planning/delivery with regular school programming
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting of program outcomes according to United Way/CSI guidelines
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Masters in Social Work, Education or related field.
- Experience working with adolescents in a school setting.
- Focus on youth development and asset building.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Experience developing and/or administrating programs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bilingual (Spanish) staff preferred.
