Caring Club® Card Program

United Way of Westchester and Putnam’s Caring Club® Card Program is an opportunity for your company to reach United Way contributors by offering discounts to this select group of people who live or work in our community.

Participating Merchant/Vendor Benefits

  • Exposure to over 50,000 people who live or work in Westchester or Putnam County
  • Targeted audience of consumers with disposable income
    (minimum gift for individual participation in program is $130)
  • Recognition as a community conscious merchant
  • Targeted promotion in numerous locations online and in print:
  • 200,000 pledge cards used in workplace campaigns and direct mail
  • 50,000 postcards publicizing the program distributed by mail and in person
  • 1,000 posters distributed to local employers and public venues
  • United Way of Westchester and Putnam’s website – uwwp.org with links to your business website
  • Your business will be listed 3 ways on website: by name, zip code, business type
  • Promotional tables at United Way events and other community venues
  • Year long exposure: program runs through October 2009

How to Participate in United Way’s Caring Club® Card Program:

  • Determine meaningful discounts you would like to offer Caring Club® Card Members
  • Complete and return Merchant Application
  • Display Caring Club® signage in your establishment
  • Inform your employees of the program and discounts you are offering Card Members
