The 2006-2007 Spirit of Westchester and Putnam Awards were presented March 29, 2007 to:

United Way's prestigious "Spirit of Westchester and Putnam Corporate Leadership Award" was given to Pepsi Bottling Group at United Way's Awards Luncheon, which was held on March 29, 2007 at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel. Tim Martin, PBG's Senior Vice President for I/T (lower right) and Chair of this year's highly successful PBG employee campaign, was joined by members of his employee campaign team at the awards ceremony.

Michael J. Piazza, Jr. (center), Putnam County Commissioner of the Department of Mental Health, Social Services and Youth Bureau, received United Way's "Spirit of Westchester and Putnam Volunteer Leadership Award" for his extraordinary efforts on behalf of United Way in Putnam. Presenting the award at United Way's Awards luncheon on March 29, 2007 at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel were Harry O. Paul Ryan, President, and Karen Magee, Secretary-Treasurer of the Westchester-Putnam AFL-CIO Central Labor Body, accept United Way's "Spirit of Westchester and Putnam Labor Leadership Award", which recognizes the AFL-CIO's strong commitment to United Way and community service.
